I currently work as a Digital Communications Coordinator for Solstice Media. Many people look at me with a blank face when I say this, so let me explain further...

 

I work across all Solstice Media publications including InDaily, SALIFE and CityMag where my main responsibilities include designing marketing collateral, building and sending EDM's (Electronic Direct Mail), creating digital content, website management, ensuring clients needs and expectations are met, managing social media platforms and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Pretty much, any form of communication with consumers/customers digitally, I'm you're girl!

 

My role has allowed me to grow my personal and professional skills and develop new skill sets in areas such as sales and advertising, and social media.

Having nearly 10 years of experience in the workforce, my background ranges from a fast paced media industry, customer service and sales in retail, store managing a busy cafe, and being a team leader through coaching sports. This variety within different industries has given me all sorts of transferable skills, knowledge and qualifications. 

​

These include having effective time management and organisational skills which not only comes naturally but also is practiced on a day-to-day basis working in a busy media environment; The ability to successfully multitask which results in greater productivity; Maintain strong relationships between clients, customers and colleagues; Organisation and operation of large scale events.
